1. Who is this program for?
This program is designed for 10th and 11th graders with prior coding experience who are passionate about computer science and eager to strengthen their college applications.

2. What will I achieve by the end of the program?
You will complete a polished, publication-ready research article (2–4 pages, NHJS5 format) that you can showcase in college applications, resumes, and portfolios.

3. How long is the program?
The program runs for 8 weeks, with one 90-minute session per week.

4. What kind of topics will we research?
Students explore foundational and emerging computer science concepts under expert guidance, with topics chosen to balance rigor, relevance, and personal interests.

5. Do I need prior research experience?
No prior research experience is required. The program is designed to guide you step by step, from learning the fundamentals to completing and publishing your work.

6. Who will be teaching and mentoring?
Sessions are led by experienced mentors and industry experts who provide personalized guidance and feedback throughout the research and writing process.

7. How competitive is admission?
Admission is highly selective. We open cohorts only a few times a year, and spaces are very limited due to the depth and scope of the program. Applicants must also submit a short essay explaining why they want to join and what they hope to accomplish.
